The plan of this single-storey house of approximately 784 sq. ft. (73 m2) with two bedrooms is functional and ergonomic, with its open-plan kitchen and living room. The warm exterior style of the EXPRESS KIT, simple and easy to build, is particularily suited for the country, either in the mountains or at the waterside. A deep eaves overhang of 5 ft. (1.5 m) at the façade allows for the installation of a covered porch running the full width of the house. The reasonable dimensions of this house allows it to be built on any type of land, flat, uneven, or small-sized.

Storage closet or basement stair enclosure

In the slab-on-grade version of the house, the two partitions that frame the basement staircase enclosure in the basement version must be set up so as to create a storage closet for the hot-water tank. As a result, the area of the living room is increased. When you buy the basement option, this area becomes the staircase enclosure.
